At Fourth Plain Forward, we believe in the power of community-led change. Here are three impactful ways you can get involved:
Community Advisory Committee
Advocate for affordable housing, rent stabilization, health, and education initiatives. Partnering with Clark County Public Health and Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, committee members dedicate 2-4 hours monthly. Residents of our five neighborhoods are invited to join and shape policies that directly impact their community.
Climate Adaptation Taskforce
Lead the charge on climate resilience by addressing climate-related health risks in our community. As a taskforce member, you will help create educational materials, advocate for policy changes, and build long-term relationships with policymakers. This role requires a deep connection to the Fourth Plain community and a commitment to 2-4 hours a month.
Board of Directors
Join our leadership team! We’re seeking local business owners and residents with lived experience, community passion, and a commitment to engagement. No previous board experience is required—just an eagerness to help build a thriving, equitable community. Time commitment: 2-4 hours a month.
